Molecular Pathology Administration Lead

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Administration Lead to join our Molecular Pathology team at Peter Mac. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our molecular diagnostic services, ensuring the efficient running of the team, and promoting a patient and client-oriented service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and supervision to the Molecular Pathology Administration Team
- Manage and coordinate administrative tasks, including word processing, audio-typing, filing, diary management, and record keeping
- Ensure the accurate and timely receipt and accessioning of specimens
- Request, track, and follow up on requests for testing materials from external laboratories
- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases
- Demonstrable experience in MS Office products, Internet, and Outlook
- Demonstrable experience in medical audio-typing and minute-taking
- Demonstrable experience in database management
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Professional approach to patient pathology service confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
