Financial Accountant Position

The General Finance team plays a vital role in ensuring the financial stability of our organization. This team is responsible for providing technical accounting expertise to manage and enhance the financial control framework, as well as cash flow and balance sheet management across the group.

Working with the Senior and Financial Accountant to provide high-quality financial processing and reporting, enabling accurate and informed decision-making for the successful performance of the Finance team.

Main responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and assist with month-end activities such as journals and reconciliations.
  2. Assist in improving financial reconciliations and processes.
  3. Assist with the external audit process.
  4. Assist with preparing the statutory accounts.
  5. Assist with preparing the BAS and FBT returns.
  6. Assist the finance team with ad hoc accounting duties.
  7. Business partnering and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Working towards CA/CPA qualification.
  • Commerce/Accounting degree qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience preferred.
  • Proactive approach, hardworking attitude, and a high level of accountability.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
