Health Care Worker

About the Role
We are seeking applications from qualified healthcare professionals to join our team as Health Care Workers in the Central Allocations Unit. This is a casual position that requires a commitment of 4 shifts per fortnight.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate availability in our electronic rostering system and accepting shifts based on availability
- Providing resident-focused and holistic care under the supervision of registered and enrolled nurses
- Assisting residents to meet their needs in various care community settings
- Accurate documentation of resident care and adherence to health service guidelines
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff
- Providing resident-focused service in relation to meals and food services
- Ability to function within a team
- Participating in annual performance reviews
- Commitment to ongoing mandatory education
Requirements
- Successful completion of a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support
- Assist Clients With Medication Unit, desirable but not essential
- Current HLTFSE001 - Follow Basic Food Handling Practices certificate, or willingness to obtain
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
- Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred, but is not essential
