Exciting Field Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Field Technician. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional results.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for on-site equipment and explosive delivery systems, performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs in the field. They will also assist with calibration, system checks, and operational readiness of mobile units, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in remote environments, complete and submit service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation, and support the commissioning and decommissioning of field equipment as needed.

Requirements for the role include a trade qualification in mechanical, automotive, or diesel fitting, experience in mobile equipment servicing or field-based technical support, strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability in hydraulic and mechanical systems, current manual driver's licence, familiarity with explosive delivery systems, sound understanding of safety and environmental protocols in mining or industrial sites, effective communication skills, ability to work independently or in small teams, physical fitness, ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen, and proficiency in using maintenance management systems, tech-tools and other relevant computer software.
