Debt Recovery Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our finance team. As a key member, you will manage debtors, collections, and reconciliation functions.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders and contribute to the success of our business. You will utilize your skills in collections, bank reconciliations, and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage debtor balances, prepare AR analysis, and maintain the AR ledger
  • Reconcile sale invoices and monthly aged debtors provisions
  • Perform email and phone call collections, communicating with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Back up for Accounts Payable function, complete bank reconciliations, and do cash flow forecasting and reporting
  • Prepare and post month-end journals

Requirements:

  • Experience in collections via phone and email, with a strong focus on AR roles
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and vLookUps
  • Familiarity with large ERP systems, such as JD Edwards, Oracle, or SAP
  • Natural inquisitiveness, calm demeanor, and relationship-focused approach
