Job Title

A leading role in a dynamic digital team is available for an experienced and skilled Digital Editor to lead content production, drive online engagement and support e-commerce goals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily content plan, monitoring trends and news, and conceptualising original omnichannel content ideas. Strong skills in SEO, social media management, and analytics are required, as well as excellent headline writing ability and knowledge of search engines.

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years' experience writing celebrity content in digital media, preferably in a fast-paced newsroom environment. Relevant tertiary qualifications and basic understanding of commercial drivers for websites and digital sales processes are also essential.

About the Role

  • Lead content production and drive online page views, traffic referrals, and social engagement
  • Support e-commerce goals via effective affiliate content production
  • Collaborate with the editor and content producers to ideate and execute daily content plans
  • Monitor celebrity news cycles and respond quickly to content opportunities
  • Develop new editorial ideas and amplification strategies using analytics and data insights
