About the Role

Wisr is a fintech company on a mission to bring people closer to financial wellness. The company is seeking an experienced leader to define a compelling product vision and orchestrate multiple squads.

Job Description

The Head of Product will be responsible for defining a clear product vision, driving annual and quarterly product planning processes, and directly managing one cross-functional squad. Key responsibilities include prioritizing backlogs, planning sprints, and delivering products that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Vision: Define and evolve a clear product vision and strategy aligned to the company's goals and innovation agenda.
  • Product Planning: Drive the annual and quarterly product planning processes, translating strategy into actionable roadmaps, OKRs, and investment cases.
  • Squad Management: Directly manage one cross-functional squad, owning backlog prioritisation, sprint planning and delivery execution.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years leading teams of Product Managers in fintech, SaaS, or high-growth technology companies.
  • Success Metrics: Demonstrated success launching and scaling products from concept (0-1) and at scale (1-n).
  • Leadership: Proven ability to define clear product visions, multi-year roadmaps, and align cross-functional teams around measurable outcomes.
  • Tech Knowledge: Understanding of lending economics, technology, credit risk, APIs, and regulatory environments.
What Success Looks Like:
  • Cohesive Product Vision: Clearly defined and well-communicated two-year roadmap aligned to business goals, regularly tracked against strategic OKRs.
  • New Product Delivery: Successful launch and market validation of products, meeting agreed product-market fit criteria.
  • Squad Performance: Consistent and reliable delivery of sprint goals with measurable improvement in squad efficiency and deployment frequency.
