Job Title: Nominated Supervisor for Preschool

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Nominated Supervisor to lead our 37-place preschool centre in the Inner West area of Ashfield. Our centre caters for children from 3 to 6 years old and provides a happy, safe, and educational environment for them to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high-quality care and education is provided to children.
  • Manage a team of 5 permanent educators across 2 rooms.
  • Ensure the centre is compliant with the EYLF, NQS, and Education and Care Services National Law & Regulations.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre, including enrolments and waitlists, in line with the centre's policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the curriculum as the centre's Educational Leader.
  • Maintain centre budgets and ensure financial aspects of the business are well managed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master in Early Childhood Education (overseas qualifications accepted if approved by ACECQA).
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar leadership or 2ic role.
  • Valid Working with Children's Check.
  • Sound understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
  • Proven ability to inspire, lead, and support a team of successful educators.
  • Efficient organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
