Clinical Nurse Specialists play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate, coordinated care within our hospital's Palliative Care service.

As a specialist, you will ensure patients and their carers experience a seamless journey from hospital to home with dignity and support at every stage. You will bring advanced clinical expertise and autonomy to the provision of complex nursing care, working within a multidisciplinary team.

This role is clinically demanding and meaningful, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact on vulnerable patients and their families.

What You Will Bring To The Role
  • Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with a professional governing body
  • Post-registration qualifications or at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in Palliative Care or other relevant qualifications/experience
  • Commitment to champion, educate and lead a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making abilities according to best practice
  • Effective communication with patients, family/carers and a diverse range of healthcare providers
  • Commitment to clinical practice development
  • A current Driver's Licence and ability to travel within the region as required
