About the Role

">

The Associate Director - Indigenous Student Success will oversee the operational aspects of the Ngunnawal Centre, fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive Indigenous Student Success and the Centre's objectives. This role extends beyond academic and cultural leadership to actively contribute to creating a culturally safe environment for Indigenous students, staff, and alumni.

Key responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations, budgets, reporting, governance, and supervising staff performance to improve practices and procedures.

About You

">

To be successful in this role, you should have a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with a strong understanding of Indigenous education and support services. Experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation is essential, as well as analytical and reporting skills.

A commitment to promoting Indigenous student success and higher education is crucial, as well as financial management experience, organisational, and administrative skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities are also important, along with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Salary and Working Rights

This is a full-time continuing opportunity with a salary range of $132,291 pa - $136,874 pa + 17% Super. Applicants must have valid working rights or eligibility to obtain a work visa for Australia.
