Purpose of the Role
Within the framework of the mission, vision, values, philosophy and policies of Little Company of Mary Health Care (LCMHC), this position is responsible for providing day to day support of the Quality Management and Governance systems to ensure it compliments strategic direction, daily operational processes, budget and business direction of the hospital whilst also maintaining the site optimum quality certification and compliance with the National Safety and Quality Service Standards (NSQHSS) and Clinical Care Standards.
About you
**Essential Qualifications**:
An understanding of Calvary's Mission and Values and an ability to communicate a strategic vision in keeping with these.
Proven leadership ability, particularly in relation to development of teams, project management and organisational change.
Demonstrated strategic planning ability, including high level conceptual and analytical abilities.
Demonstrated record of achievement in change management.
Senior operational experience that demonstrates achievement and delivery of a business plan within budget parameters.
Excellent communication, liaison and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of the professional and regulatory requirements in safety and quality fields.
Extensive experience in coordinating quality activities and practical experience in risk management, and ability to operationalise a risk management framework across the organisation.
COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt.
**Desirable Qualifications**:
A demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines, and to assist team members to do the same.
Postgraduate qualifications in management, health services management or related area.
