Early Childhood Coordinator

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Coordinator to support the delivery of the NDIS early childhood approach at a local level.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children and families by providing effective planning and support while fostering meaningful connections within the community.

  • Support families through a child and family-centred approach, ensuring children receive appropriate interventions based on best practice evidence.
  • Use your diploma or higher qualifications in Early Childhood, Allied Health, Social Work, or a related field to support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Complete functional assessments for children with developmental concerns or disabilities, determining their needs and ensuring timely referrals to appropriate support pathways.
  • Connect families to community services and mainstream programs to enhance their social participation and access to essential services.
  • Guide families through NDIS plan reassessments, gathering evidence, assisting with goal development, and ensuring the right support is in place.
  • Utilise the NDIS plan to support children and their families with improved choice, control, social participation, and overall quality of life.
