Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate and commit to Safety Standards and Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements at all times.
  • Ensure cross dock teams receive full and clear instructions surrounding the loading, transportation, and delivery of goods.
  • Coordinate timely and accurate communication for supply chain requirements between subcontractors, customers, and operations.
  • Assist with various operational functions, where required, including but not limited to allocating, cross-dock/subcontractor management, and customer service.
  • Assist in the development of relevant processes and procedures and maintain ongoing reporting of operational and commercial metrics.
  • Meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including service performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A high level of attention to detail with the ability to communicate and engage on all levels.
  • Resilience to work-related demands and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in interstate transport operations or a combination of road transport and related industry knowledge.
  • Effective time management skills with a strong ability to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • The ability to engage and maintain solid customer relationships through regular communication.
  • An organised and systematic approach to work, with high-level attention to detail.
  • A solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Heavy Vehicle regulations & Load Restraint.
