About the Opportunity
The Supply Chain Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our organisation's Supply Chain activities. This position is fundamental in developing and implementing a strategic and operational framework for Supply Chain and Logistics operations.
A key aspect of this role is establishing and executing a comprehensive Supply Chain & Logistics framework and strategy, which includes:
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers on both national and international levels
- Overseeing and optimising our warehouses and logistics footprint
- Managing relationships with freight forwarders and other stakeholders
- Leading a small Supply Chain and Logistics team by setting objectives and defining development plans for direct reports
Key Requirements
- Degree in business administration or related field
- Experience in a manufacturing/trade supply/industrial field
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain process fundamentals, purchasing, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
