Job Overview

The Patient Services Assistant role involves providing supportive care to patients and their families in the ICU team.

This position requires assisting the clinical team with patient transfers, manual handling activities, stock organisation, cleaning, and general duties.

As a key member of the healthcare team, you will work with diverse colleagues driven to deliver high-quality patient care, reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective teamwork and patient interaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and independently as required.
  • A customer-focused attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances is essential.
  • Understanding of infection control and manual handling guidelines is crucial for ensuring patient safety.
  • Basic Life Support Training is mandatory for this role.
