Job Summary:

  • This role involves coordinating patient admissions, staff and material resources to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • The successful candidate will provide clinical direction and operational management after hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient admissions, staff and resource allocation to meet KPIs.
  • Provide clinical direction and operational management after hours.
  • Develop policies and procedures for high-quality patient care.
  • Mentor and coach team members for skill development and performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments for seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification.
  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Leadership and Management or willingness to complete.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior leadership role in a large acute hospital environment.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including mentorship and coaching of team members.
  • Advanced clinical competence and proven experience in clinical supervision.
  • Proven track record in staff coordination and allocation.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational skills.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • High degree of computer literacy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

Rostered shifts may include weekends and all shift types.
