
Chief Patient Coordinator

Job Summary:
- This role involves coordinating patient admissions, staff and material resources to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- The successful candidate will provide clinical direction and operational management after hours.
- A dynamic leader is required who can demonstrate strong leadership skills, including mentorship and coaching of team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient admissions, staff and resource allocation to meet KPIs.
- Provide clinical direction and operational management after hours.
- Develop policies and procedures for high-quality patient care.
- Mentor and coach team members for skill development and performance improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments for seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification.
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Postgraduate qualification in Leadership and Management or willingness to complete.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior leadership role in a large acute hospital environment.
- Strong people leadership skills, including mentorship and coaching of team members.
- Advanced clinical competence and proven experience in clinical supervision.
- Proven track record in staff coordination and allocation.
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills.
- Problem solving ability.
- High degree of computer literacy.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
Rostered shifts may include weekends and all shift types.
