Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting both the Trauma and Joint Replacement divisions, working closely with surgeons and theatre teams to ensure the safe and effective use of surgical products.
The ideal candidate will have a background in nursing, physiotherapy, paramedicine, biomedical engineering or science, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also possess strong problem-solving ability and calm under pressure.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Support surgical procedures with in-theatre clinical guidance
- Deliver in-service education and product training to hospital staff
- Manage stock and case preparation
- Maintain strong relationships with clinical stakeholders
- Participate in a weekend on-call roster (penalty rates apply)
What We Are Looking For:
- Background in nursing, physiotherapy, paramedicine, biomedical engineering or science
- Experience in operating theatres or clinical environments (highly regarded, but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work on-call weekends when required
