About the Role

This position is part of the Paediatric Allied Health service, an integrated, multi-disciplinary team that consists of occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dieticians, physiotherapists, podiatrists, and allied health assistants. The team supports families and delivers evidence-based, goal-directed therapies to children under 18 years of age.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and management of a diverse caseload of paediatric clients.
  • Deliver therapy services in both private and public models, funded from a range of sources including Medicare and NDIS.
  • Work in individual and group formats, with support from a large team including allied health assistants, a key worker, and dedicated paediatric administration.
  • Opportunity for project work to increase the health outcomes of developmentally vulnerable children and to be innovative within your role.
Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Formal supervision and professional development structures in place, with access to experienced clinical supervisors.
