Job Description

We are seeking passionate retail managers to manage the operation of a supermarket in a remote First Nations community. The successful candidate will be responsible for training and mentoring local team members, implementing and upholding our nutrition policy, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet community needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the successful operation of a supermarket in a remote First Nations community
  • Train and mentor local team members
  • Implement and uphold our nutrition policy
  • Collaborate with merchandising, nutrition, and local stakeholders to meet community needs
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years' retail management experience
  • Experience with electronic retail systems for stock control, point of sale, and staff management
  • A Certificate III in Retail or willingness to obtain within the first 12 months
  • The ability to manage unique challenges of remote communities, including limited resources, unpredictable supply chains, and cultural considerations
