Disability Support Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Disability Support Specialists to join our support team.

  • To be successful in this role, you will provide day-to-day assistance to our clients with domestic and household duties such as cooking, washing, ironing, house cleaning, shopping, banking etc.
  • You will also assist with self-care, general hygiene, and personal presentation.
  • In addition, you will transport clients to and from appointments and attend as required.
  • You will encourage independence in daily living activities where appropriate.
  • Finally, you will assist with transport and accompany the person on outings and activities (may include support to use public transport).
Key Requirements:
  • One year of experience in caring for persons with a disability.
  • Certificate 111 qualification.
  • Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster which includes days, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers and weekend shifts.
