Job Title

A Data Modelling Professional is needed to create and maintain data models for our data platforms across the Group.

  • Design, deliver, and maintain conceptual and logical data models, ensuring physical models align with agreed structures and patterns.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Create and implement a data modelling governance framework to guide stakeholders toward a defined future state with sustainable data driven outcomes.
  2. Provide direct support to the Data Domain Architect for enterprise data model, store/warehouse, information management, and advanced data analytics capabilities.
  3. Mentor other team members in Data Technology to upskill themselves into Data Modelling domain.
Requirements
  1. Tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline coupled with significant experience in data modelling/architecture, cloud service providers, and/or data platforms AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, or Snowflake.
  2. Knowledge of ETL, reporting & analytics, data governance, security, and AI/ML toolsets and their interaction with data modelling outcomes.
  3. Experience with Big Data, Data Warehousing, Data Architectures, and Enterprise data services within complex environments.
  4. Ability to document assumptions and proceed with modelling work when requirements are unclear or unknown.
