Job Title: Data Architecture Specialist

As a Data Architecture Specialist, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architecture. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions is key to this role.

  • Develop the architecture and implementation of scalable, high-performance data pipelines.
  • Optimize ETL/ELT processes using Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
  • Manage complex data integration from various sources; ensure real-time data flow and reliability across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Design and optimize data warehouse solutions with advanced modeling for structured and unstructured data.
  • Oversee automation and monitoring of data workflows using Python, Scala, and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture and integration strategies within technology infrastructure.
  • Lead a team of data engineers, providing mentorship and overseeing project deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years delivering data pipelines in a business environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving and analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
  • Technical skills:
    • Strong programming in Python.
    • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks or Snowflake).
    • Solid understanding of data engineering concepts (SQL, ETL/ELT, distributed systems, metadata-driven data engineering, orchestration).
    • Proficiency with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
    • Experience with metadata-driven pipelines and tools such as Jinja and DBT.
