
Administrative Support Specialist

Tweed Shire Council is seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our dynamic Planning and Regulation Division.
- We are looking for someone who can provide high-level administrative and clerical support across the Unit, including general office duties as directed by the Administration Supervisor.
- The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in typing, data entry and the use of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- They will be able to deliver responsive and flexible support in a fast-paced environment, contributing to quality client service and assisting team members during peak periods.
- We require candidates with strong attention to detail, the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and ensure smooth administrative processes within the Unit.
- A minimum Certificate III in Business/Administration or relevant discipline and proven competence in a similar administrative support role.
- Proven ability to perform a wide range of administrative and clerical tasks, including reception duties, document handling and records management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team in a professional environment.
