Director of Education

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Education to lead our educational program. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our educational strategy, aligned with our school's vision and values.
  • Oversee the management of our curriculum, ensuring it is relevant, engaging, and effective in meeting the needs of our students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality teaching and learning practices across the school.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, the community, and other educational institutions to promote partnerships and collaborations.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and implementing targeted interventions to support student achievement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a senior educator or leader in a Steiner school or similar setting.
  • Degree in education or related field.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff, students, and the wider community.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to articulate the school's vision and values effectively.
  • Ability to think strategically, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
