The successful candidate will be critical in ensuring our clients receive outstanding customer service. They will be dedicated, conscientious, with a genuine love for animals and effective in written and verbal communication with clients and other hospital staff.
About Your Role- This is a permanent part-time role with a range of shifts, including 7am - 5pm, 8am - 6pm, 9am - 7pm, 11am - 9pm, 12pm - 10pm, and 1pm - 11pm, including occasional weekends.
- You will handle a high volume of inbound calls and email enquiries, manage client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, welcome clients and their pets to the hospital, book and manage appointments, invoice and take payments – including cash and EFTPOS, process payments on Vetpay, Zippay and Afterpay, coordinate with other hospital departments to ensure seamless client experiences, perform data entry and request documents from referring vets and clients, liaise with referring vets, and perform ad-hoc administrative duties.
- Proven experience in a client services role, preferably in a healthcare or veterinary setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable and takes initiative, this role requires you to be able to multitask and have a proactive attitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong conflict resolution skills.
- A calm and empathetic approach to your work.
- A passion for delivering outstanding client service.
