About the Position

The School of Computing is seeking a passionate academic to contribute to teaching and research in Cyber Security.

This role involves leading innovative research, publishing in top-tier venues, securing independent funding, and collaborating with industry and interdisciplinary teams across the University.

The successful candidate will join a world-class Cyber Security research group, teach at undergraduate and graduate levels, and engage with industry and government partners to drive impactful advancements in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach subjects to a standard that delivers a high-quality learning experience for students in the Bachelors and Masters;
  • Conduct lectures and tutorials at undergraduate and postgraduate level including engagement in teaching innovation and improvement;
  • Develop and innovate high quality subject materials and subject delivery, including the use of web resources as appropriate;
  • Preparation of project work to support student learning;
  • Conduct high quality scholarly research in the discipline of Cyber Security;
  • Build and foster partnerships with industry, government and other collaborators.
Requirements
  • A PhD in computer science, software engineering or information systems;
  • A track record of quality research in Cyber Security as evidenced by research publications in leading peer-reviewed conferences or journals;
  • Demonstrated ability to perform independent research and a commitment to interdisciplinary research;
