Be part of a dedicated team that supports older people to live life on their terms. As a Maintenance Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities.

  • Maintain plant, equipment, building and services to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Ensure up-to-date records of all chemicals in use and comply with relevant safety standards.
  • Maintain the grounds in a neat and tidy manner, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of our facilities.
  • Identify preventative maintenance requirements, complete the works and document schedules.
  • Ensure preventative and corrective maintenance is actioned within legal requirements and documented in relevant registers.

What you will bring to the role:

  • General hands-on maintenance or handyman skills.
  • Maintenance of grounds, general painting skills, maintaining garden beds and knowledge of gardening equipment would be beneficial.
  • Experience in supervision or coordination of maintenance programs.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
