Mechanic Needed for Road Transport Vehicles

A Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Road Transport) is needed to maintain and repair trucks, floats, light vehicles, and construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair various types of vehicles and heavy machinery
- Collaborate with supervisors and suppliers to ensure fleet efficiency and availability
- Support roadworthy inspections and complete service documentation accurately
- Undertake both workshop-based and site servicing (field service)
- Promote compliance with workplace health and safety standards and contribute to pre-start/toolbox meetings
- Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with maintenance and safety standards
- At least 2 years' post-trade experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- A background in civil, mining, transport, or agricultural environments is highly regarded
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- A current Driver's Licence - HR or HC is desirable
- A White Card
- Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities across drivetrains, hydraulics, and suspension systems
- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- An effective communicator and collaborative team member
- Physically fit and willing to work flexible hours, including field servicing
