Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Mechanics play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

As a trade-qualified and experienced mechanic, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across a diverse range of vehicles.

We are seeking an individual with at least 2 years' post-trade experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our dedicated maintenance team.

The successful candidate will have a strong fault-finding and repair capability across drivetrains, hydraulics, and suspension.

In addition to their technical skills, they will also possess effective communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work flexible hours, including field servicing.

The ideal candidate will have a background in civil, mining, transport, or agricultural environments and hold relevant certifications such as Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

  • Maintain and repair heavy vehicles, including trucks, floats, and construction equipment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and suppliers to maintain fleet efficiency and availability.
  • Support roadworthy inspections and complete service documentation accurately.
  • Undertake both workshop-based and site servicing (field service).
  • Promote WHS compliance and contribute to safety-focused pre-start/toolbox meetings.
  • Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
