This is an exciting opportunity to work in creating positive outcomes in Aboriginal health and wellbeing. We are looking for a values-driven, culturally aware Aboriginal Health Project Officer to contribute to meaningful change alongside Aboriginal communities.
Key Responsibilities- Support and Coordinate: Assist with planning, delivering, and evaluating health projects using culturally safe and community-focused approaches.
- Provide Administrative Support: Manage diaries, meetings, correspondence, records, and reporting with accuracy and efficiency.
- Uphold Cultural Integrity: Ensure all work reflects and respects Aboriginal cultures, values, and lived experiences.
- Engage and Collaborate: Foster strong, respectful relationships with teams, communities, and partners to support shared outcomes.
- Adapt and Respond: Prioritise effectively, solve problems proactively, and handle sensitive matters with care and cultural awareness.
- You are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person, recognised through heritage and community connection.
- You have strong organisational skills, including diary and meeting management, documentation, and experience with Microsoft Office and TRIM.
- You can effectively support and deliver projects on time, using sound project management practices.
- You have experience in data collection and reporting, providing clear and accurate information for decision-making.
- You communicate respectfully and clearly, work well independently and in teams, and adapt flexibly while upholding cultural safety and equity.
