Logistics Operations Manager
SEAWAY seeks a hands-on transportation leader to oversee rail and road operations. This role is responsible for managing ancillary services, identifying cost efficiencies, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management to the rail and road division.
- Maintain order flow and manage procurement, tracking, and delivery of goods.
- Analyse logistical problems and develop new solutions.
- Allocate staff resources, including staff management, development, and training.
- Plan and forecast workloads based on seasonal movements and resourcing requirements.
- Pursue new business opportunities.
About the Role:
This is an ongoing position with standard hours from 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. We seek experienced transportation professionals who are approachable leaders, lateral thinkers, and safety champions.
