We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at HammondCare, a leading not-for-profit healthcare provider. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to our aged care residents across multiple sites.
About the RoleThis is a part-time opportunity with flexible hours and location options. As an Occupational Therapist at HammondCare, you will have the autonomy to work independently while being part of a multidisciplinary team. You will deliver resident-centered care, promote meaningful engagement in life, and strive for continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective and timely occupational therapy to residents and support staff to meet individual needs and preferences.
- Collaborate closely with residents, their representatives, staff, and the broader Allied Health Team to assess functional care needs, set care goals, and provide treatment and interventions.
- Participate as a member of the HammondCare team in the application of the Mission and values to the pursuit of its objectives in a person-centered, continuous quality improvement work environment.
- A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- Practical experience or sound knowledge in Aged Care.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated organisation and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- An estimated annual salary of $83,000 - $113,000 depending on experience.
