Rural Support Officer

Support Rural Communities

This is an exciting opportunity to join a diverse team that provides livestock, finance & insurance and rural products advice to local communities.

You will work in a dynamic role as the first point of contact for clients engaging with our branch. Your responsibilities will include processing in-store sales and client orders for stockfeed & supplements and fertilisers.

In this role, you will build strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and accurate product knowledge. You will be supported by a network of experienced professionals who can help you grow in your career.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service and product knowledge
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Manage stock levels, inventory and reporting
  • Maintain a clean and organised store environment
  • Ensure effective stock control measures are in place

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in agriculture
  • Administrative skills including banking, ordering and processing
  • Strong understanding of agricultural products and market trends
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • A current MR license and willingness to obtain other required licenses
  • Patient communication skills and passion for delivering excellent customer service
