We are seeking a skilled procurement specialist to support the tender phase of major heavy civil construction projects in Perth.
- The role involves preparing Expressions of Interest (EoIs) and Tender Proposals for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Key responsibilities include conducting market research, identifying qualified suppliers and subcontractors, and aligning procurement scopes with internal stakeholders.
A key requirement is to have experience as a Procurement Specialist in tendering for heavy civil infrastructure in Australia, with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Responsibilities:- Market Research: Conduct thorough research to identify qualified suppliers and subcontractors.
- Procurement Planning: Align procurement scopes with internal stakeholders and issue RFQs and RFPs.
- Supplier Engagement: Lead supplier engagement, NDA issuance, bid evaluation, and commercial negotiation.
- Procurement Execution: Develop procurement plans and cost breakdowns for post-award execution.
- Reporting: Track and report procurement activities and KPIs weekly during tendering.
- Contract Management: Manage contract terms (pricing, delivery schedules, escalation clauses).
- Sustainability: Integrate sustainability, local content, and safety principles into procurement strategy.
This role requires excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple bid packages and tight timelines.
We are looking for a self-driven, organised, and adaptable individual who can thrive in high-pressure environments.
Requirements:- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist in tendering for heavy civil infrastructure in Australia.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical preferred), Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
- Credentials: Full working rights in Australia.
- Skills: Strong commercial acumen and contract knowledge in pre-award/tender environments, High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data-driven procurement analysis.
