The Group Operations Finance team partners with senior leadership across the bank's Financial Services, Marketing, Strategy, Risk, Human Resources, and Legal functions. The team manages end-to-end finance functions for these businesses, collaborating regularly with other Business Unit and Group finance teams.

The purpose of this role is to provide finance support to business customers and internal support unit finance business partners within the GSSF Centre Finance team. This position will work across GSSF/Group Finance and other internal finance teams to coordinate common deliverables, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage corporate centre initiatives, including month-end responsibilities, reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring strong financial control.
  • Coordinate key group deliverables, manage stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality information.
  • Analyse common expense areas, providing insights on staff costs, support unit allocations, and leveraging technology for automation.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN PRODUCTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS (GROUP FINANCE & SUPPORT UNIT FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNERS)
  • Proactively work with the wider GSSF team to embed a productivity and innovation culture, identifying opportunities for business and process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High commercial acumen and strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Prioritization, multitasking, and managing multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong background in financial control activities, adept at analysing financial results, and distilling actionable insights for senior leaders.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with fluency in Agile ways of working viewed favourably.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
