Job Description:

As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for gas deliveries to clients and distributors based on optimal distribution planning and cost management, taking into account legal and operational constraints and achieving high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.

You will also play a pivotal role in maintaining transport data in the system and routing tool to ensure process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Organise deliveries to clients and distributors
  2. Improve safety, quality and efficiency of the distribution
  3. Ensure respect of transportation regulations and company's safety standards
  4. Monitor operational KPIs for improvement and reduce non-quality costs
  5. Identify improvement fields by simulating new dispatch schemes with the routing tool
  6. Propose solutions and implement them in coordination with the sales team
  7. Control efficiency of the routing tool
  8. Analyse client needs in collaboration with order takers and sales teams
  9. Propose the best solution and communicate it to order takers who will inform clients
  10. Avoid unnecessary deliveries and costs while answering the actual needs of clients
  11. Check the consistency between transport invoices and deliveries

Requirements:

We are looking for a skilled professional with:

  • Previous experience in transport planning and scheduling
  • Understanding of Dangerous Goods Transport (ADG)
  • Strong knowledge of computerised systems and programming (Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Knowledge of logistic or freight operations
  • Strong analytical and critical problem-solving ability
  • Tenacity, resilience and conflict resolution skills
