We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Knox Private Hospital.
About the Role:As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide complex and multi-disciplinary care. You will also be required to act as a role model for safe practice, deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, and work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
- Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care
- Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Minimum 2+ years working in Emergency care
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in emergency or critical care nursing
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
- Flexibility to work a roster of Morning and Afternoon shifts as well as Saturdays when required.
