Electoral Commission Role
The role of Social Media Officer is critical in the lead-up to South Australia's largest logistical event, the State election. This position plays a key role in developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to engage with electors across various platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing a Comprehensive Strategy for elections, focusing on engaging key audiences across various social media platforms.
Creating and Editing Digital Communications Products, such as videos, photography, social media assets, and graphic design products to enhance organisational messaging.
Producing Video Content Within Short Turnaround Times and assisting with marketing projects and digital communications strategies as required.
This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will be able to develop and implement a social media strategy that resonates with electors and enhances reputation.
Special Conditions
Employment is dependent upon a criminal history check satisfactory to the Commission. Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required during the period of an election. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
