Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our Board as a senior community leader. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our organization, which has been serving the Northern Rivers community for over 70 years.

  • We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to community service and a passion for leadership in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Experience in governance, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement is highly desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to relate to diverse stakeholders, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have a willingness to lead and grow the organization sustainably.

Board Commitments:

As a member of our Board, you can expect to commit to monthly meetings, usually on a weekday evening, with teleconference facilities available. A one-day strategy session is also held twice a year.

Appointment Terms:

Appointment terms are for 3 years, with the option of further terms. We encourage applications from people with diverse backgrounds, including Indigenous and culturally linguistically diverse individuals.
