Position Overview:

As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will take full ownership of a client account, acting as the primary point of contact for all account-related matters. Your role will bridge management and junior staff, ensuring the quality of work produced meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the establishment of alternative investment funds, collaborating with independent tax experts, legal advisors, and notaries.
  • Manage daily fund operations, maintaining communication with third parties, including investors and fund managers.
  • Handle the fund's financial accounts and assist in preparing periodic and regulatory reports for fund entities.
  • Calculate the periodic Net Asset Value and year-end financial statements, coordinate audits, and review related reports.
  • Facilitate investor services, including onboarding, capital calls, distributions, and issuance of shareholder statements.
  • Organize and participate in board and shareholder meetings.
  • Review tax returns and balances, maintaining relationships with tax authorities.

Candidate Profile:

  • A university degree in Accounting & Finance or Economics is preferred.
  • Fully qualified Accountant (e.g., ACCA/CPAA/CIMA/ACA).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in alternative investment fund administration, audit firms, or domiciliation.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Strong team spirit, ability to build client relationships, and proactive initiative are essential.
