Job Opportunity: Dairy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dairy Manager to lead our team in presenting high-quality goods, providing excellent customer service, meeting sales targets, overseeing financial aspects, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards within the team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who has a background in fresh food settings, preferably within the retail or hospitality sector. The successful candidate will possess a strong comprehension of high-quality fresh foods, understanding of local market and seasonal trends, and hold a Food Handling Certificate.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and be able to motivate and lead the team to achieve business objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise staff in the dairy department to ensure efficient operation of the section.
  • Ensure that all products are presented in a clean, attractive, and safe manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock levels, and sales data.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and waste management.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Degree in a related field (e.g., business, hospitality, or culinary arts).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
