E-commerce Director

The e-commerce director is a leadership role responsible for developing and executing an e-commerce strategy to drive revenue growth, enhance customer experience, and maintain operational excellence across all digital channels.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day management of the company's e-commerce platform, developing and implementing strategies to grow online sales, improve conversion rates, and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Manage and optimise the online product catalogue including product listings, descriptions, pricing, and images.
  • Analyse sales data, customer behaviour, and website performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure a seamless and engaging customer journey across all digital touchpoints.
  • Work closely with marketing to support digital campaigns, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to stay up to date with new technologies and best practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar e-commerce management role.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
  • In-depth understanding of current e-commerce platforms, technologies, and digital tools.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, PPC, Google Ads, and Google Shopping.
  • Demonstrable experience in analysing data to make informed, strategic decisions.
  • Excellent knowledge of digital marketing channels and social media platforms.
  • Strong IT proficiency and analytical mindset.
  • Commercial awareness with a strong results and performance focus.
