Diagnostic Imaging Professional

The Hunter New England Health District is seeking skilled professionals to join their diagnostic imaging team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:- Work within the Imaging Department of the Hunter New England Health District to provide general imaging services.
- Operate various modalities such as intra-operative fluoroscopy, mobile x-ray, and fixed fluoroscopy.
- Participate in training programs for CT scans and other imaging modalities.
- Support Senior Radiographers, Assistant Chief Radiographers, and Chief Radiographers at each site.
- Hold a degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent qualification.
- Be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority.
- Meet the requirements for a NSW EPA Radiation licence.
- Hold a current NSW Driver's license.
- Be willing to participate in rosters, overtime, and on-call duties as required by the site.
- Reside adjacent to Upper Hunter New England Imaging sites when required.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current passport, or hold an appropriate visa allowing them to live and work in Australia.
- An eligibility list may be created for future temporary full-time vacancies.
