Freight Management Specialist

This role entails overseeing the safe and efficient movement of freight within our facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring all shipments are properly labeled, sorted, and delivered to their intended destinations on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Freight Handling: Safely manage and move consignments within our depot, adhering to highest safety standards.
  • Sorting and Labeling: Accurately label and sort consignments for delivery to the correct areas.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless operations and efficient turnaround times.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative and operational tasks, including data entry, ramp activities, and dispatch duties.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary education or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least two years of relevant work experience; associate level requires no prior experience, while senior level demands four years of relevant experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office & PC, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, proven expertise in planning and organizing, accuracy, and attention to detail.
