Employment Region Sales and Servicing Lead

This role oversees employer sales and servicing for an employment region, focusing on young job seekers aged 15 to 24. Key responsibilities include direct marketing, vacancy gathering and management, pre-employment programs, apprenticeships and traineeships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective employer engagement strategies to maximize employment opportunities;
  • Build and manage strong relationships with employers to meet their needs;
  • Manage conflicting priorities and maintain attention to detail;
  • Understand local labour market trends and employer requirements;
  • Organize high-quality pre-employment programs for employers;
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to work with diverse groups, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and those with prior offender history;
  • Strong administration skills and written communication skills.

Requirements

  • Proven success in recruitment, sales or business development;
  • Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development;
  • At least 12 months recruitment and/or vacancy management experience;
  • At least two years' experience in sales or business development;
  • Microsoft Office suite skills and typing ability (minimum 30 words per minute).
