Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned project leader to oversee the delivery of a large-scale gas-fired power plant project in Queensland, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership across all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, commissioning, and handover.
  • Ensure timely delivery, within contractual obligations, and to the required quality and safety standards.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with OEMs, government organisations, upstream suppliers, downstream customers, and community representatives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing project team, including Project Managers and discipline leads.
  • Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration across all project phases.
  • Champion QHSE standards and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Deep expertise in delivering large-scale power, energy, and infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record in managing complex EPC/EPCM programs across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes.
  • Sharp commercial insight and strategic thinking.
  • Hands-on leadership style and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams of 50+ through clarity, integrity, and a performance-driven mindset.
