About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Workforce Insights Specialist to join our People and Culture division at Great Southern Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our performance and remuneration strategies, providing actionable insights to leaders, and driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and Evolve Remuneration Strategies: Analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and internal data to inform competitive fixed and variable remuneration structures across the organization.
  • Provide Data-Driven Insights: Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting for key HR metrics, including turnover, headcount, diversity, and other relevant workforce data.
  • Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate with People and Culture peers, Finance, and Senior Leader stakeholders to ensure remuneration and performance practices align with business objectives and promote employee engagement and retention.
  • Present Insights to Stakeholders: Develop and deliver clear, actionable presentations to stakeholders, including graphical representation of insights.
  • Manage Stakeholder Queries: Act as a key contact point for team member and leader queries related to performance, remuneration, and people insights.
Requirements
  • Experience in Remuneration and Performance Analysis: Proven experience in implementing and facilitating remuneration and performance processes, generating people reports and insights.
  • Business Presentation Skills: Strong business presentation skills, including graphical representation of insights.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced excel skills, including data analysis and visualization.
  • Experience in Cross-Functional Teams: Experience contributing to cross-functional People and Culture team projects.
  • Desirable: Financial Services Experience: Experience working in remuneration and/or people processes within the financial services industry is desirable.
