About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a Project Director specialising in the Land Development sector with a strong focus on professionalism, client delivery, and innovation. You will be a key part of a vibrant, close-knit, and innovative team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Civil infrastructure design, including subdivisions, industrial, and commercial projects, with a key focus on Land Development.
  • Leading projects from technical design and documentation through to completion on site, determining construction methods, materials, and quality standards, drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods, and procedures.
  • Continually monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, measuring, valuing, and negotiating variations to designs.
  • Delivering professional services to ensure that projects are delivered to program, budget, and to the highest quality standard.
  • Practicing safety in project design and delivery, supported by quality checking and verification activities.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaising with and coordinating various stakeholders, including clients, local councils, and authorities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • The ideal candidate would be applying their experience to a diverse range of civil engineering projects, with a key focus on land development, in addition to property, civil infrastructure, and transport sectors.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently within a busy client-focused team.
  • 5+ years' experience as a Civil Engineer.
  • Local Darwin and Northern Territory project experience will be highly regarded.
  • Power and Water corporation experience and accreditation is highly regarded.
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
  • CPEng or equivalent charted status preferred but not essential.
