Clinical Applications Manager

Key to this exciting opportunity is driving a clinical applications improvement program using Agile as a methodology base. The program aims to enhance the performance of key clinical applications and services, leading to improved outcomes for end customers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a framework for clinical application improvement, ensuring effective assessment, prioritization, implementation, and measurement of improvement initiatives across Queensland Health.
  • Lead the development, prioritization, and implementation of a continuous improvement program of work using Agile thinking as a methodology base.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Applications team to undertake review, audit, and compliance activities to ensure quality standards are met and policies, processes, and procedures are in place.
  • Evaluate and modify SmartReferrals and SurgeryConnect workflows to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement across eHealth by implementing IT Service Management processes aligned with best practices.
Requirements
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of SmartReferrals and SurgeryConnect workflow solutions.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and promote continuous improvement practices within complex service delivery organizations.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication, negotiation, consultation, and collaboration skills.
  • High-level organizational skills, including time management and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report compilation and submissions.
