About The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented individual to contribute to the development and implementation of a high-quality youth leadership development program in Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting state schools to increase Award registrations and completions.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting state schools to increase Award registrations and completions;
  • Collaborating with existing award leaders (teachers) to streamline and improve processes and consolidate the Award operations within the school;
  • Evaluating project outcomes and learnings;
  • Promoting and coordinating the exchange of ideas and program options between Award Leaders and volunteers;
  • Providing advice on program flexibility to support Award Leaders and volunteers in delivering the award;
  • Engaging with schools and attending promotional events to highlight the benefits of the Award programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Skills and knowledge related to student wellbeing and engagement;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • The ability to research, develop, and implement projects;
  • An understanding of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and its delivery within the school system;
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a highly productive team;
  • The ability to establish strong working relationships and network with stakeholders.
